Carol Tillery, President of the Board

Carol Tillery is an accomplished educator and leader with extensive experience in program management, staff training, and public speaking. She holds a BA in Education from Washington State University and an M.Ed. in Learning Resources Management and School Leadership from Eastern Washington University. Carol's career spans various roles, including Director of the NW Region for Prevent Blindness America, Director of Academic Affairs for People to People Ambassadors Group, and Professional Development Manager at Apex Learning, Inc. She has managed federal and state programs for 296 school districts in Washington, coordinated large-scale training events, and developed impactful educational programs. Carol is also actively involved in community service, serving on the board of the End Brain Cancer Initiative and volunteering with the Foundation for Edmonds School District.

Mark Fauk, Vice President of the Board

Mark Fauk brings a wealth of experience across two careers. Commissioned as a second lieutenant of United States Army in 1969, Mark served actively and in reserves for nearly 30 years, retiring as a Colonel. His military career includes teaching ROTC, serving at the Pentagon, and leading operational support centers across the country. After retiring, he joined Chick-fil-A as a business consultant, serving more than 20 years and specializing in operator success management and licensing across the United States. Mark's dedication extends throughout the community, including serving in his church, supporting veterans' equine therapy, and participating in international leadership programs.

George Tillery, Treasurer

George Tillery is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in the automotive and financing industries. He founded A-Z Bus Sales, Inc. and served as President and CEO from 1984 to 2017, expanding the company across multiple states before selling it to employees. Additionally, George founded Fleet Financing Resources, providing leadership until 2017. His career includes owning NAPA auto parts franchises, Tillery Buick GMC, and real estate investments through Tillery Enterprises, Inc. George holds a BA in Personnel Management from Eastern New Mexico University. He actively contributes to and serves on the board of various ESOP companies.

Rick Townsend, Secretary

Rick Townsend is a seasoned professional with a robust background in aviation, education, and research. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Rick served 15 years as a fighter pilot and instructor, and an additional eight years in the Air Force Reserve, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He continued his remarkable career as an American Airlines captain, logging over 17,000 flight hours. Rick holds a Master’s in International Relations and a Ph.D. in History of Ideas, focusing on human rights advocacy. A published author of several technical manuals, he presents at national conferences on intellectual history. Passionate about education and community service, Rick teaches on faith and apologetics, and supports international development work.

Caltha Seymour, Board Member At-Large

Caltha Seymour has expertise in business development and strategic planning, and currently serves as a Director within Eaton's Mission Systems Division. In her role, Caltha oversees strategy, management and administration activities, profit planning, external relationships, and portfolio management. She has been with Eaton for eight years and is a graduate of their Global Leadership Development Program. Her career at Eaton includes managing new product development and leading global inclusion and diversity initiatives. Prior to Eaton, Caltha held leadership roles in operations and consulting for higher education institutions and the NFL. She holds an MBA from Tulane University and a master’s in Sports Administration from Delaware State University. An accomplished track and field athlete and classically trained pianist, Caltha is fluent in French and actively serves on several advisory boards, including The Salvation Army and The Cleveland Orchestra.
